Quote on site

Minutes, not an evening at the kitchen table.

Your prices, your call

It never invents a number. You approve every line.

$

Proof when it counts

Records you can show the CRA — and an accountant who’ll thank you.

Built by a contractor

Every feature exists because a job needed it.

What Callide does

Everything a job needs.
Nothing you don't.

One app from the first walkthrough to the money landing in your account — and the paperwork your accountant asks for at year-end.

🎤

Voice-to-quote

Describe the work in your own words. Callide picks the line items from your price list, quantifies them from your room sizes, and shows its working. Say “just the back wall” and it quotes one wall.

💡

It catches what costs you

Ticked demo but no disposal bin? No cleanup, no blades, no site protection? Callide flags it before you send — and tells you why. It protects your margin, it doesn't upsell your client.

Value, standard or premium

One tap moves a whole quote to a leaner or richer band. Add a discount for a client you like. Every lever — markup, contingency, crew, hours — stays in your hands.

📄

Proposals that get signed

A branded proposal with your logo, scope, terms and timeline. Sign it on the spot, email it as a real PDF attachment — and Callide tells you if it bounced.

🧾

Receipts that read themselves

Photograph a receipt and it lifts the vendor, total, tax and date, files it against the job, and can log the drive with it. Your books practically keep themselves.

🚗

Mileage, CRA-ready

Pick a client or supplier and Callide records the real round-trip distance. A calendar shows every day you travelled. When the CRA wants proof you were there, you have it — at the per-kilometre rate your accountant keeps telling you to track.

💰

Money & getting paid

Invoices, deposits, progress draws and change orders. See who owes you, what's overdue and what a job actually made against what you quoted.

👥

Your crew, included

Up to five crew on one flat price. They get a lite app — just mileage and receipts on the job — and it all rolls up into your books. No per-seat creep.

📏

Measure from a drawing

No tape on site? Load a plan, sketch or photo, set the scale from one known dimension, and trace lengths, areas or counts straight into the quote.

Why it’s better

The price gets you in.
The power keeps you.

Callide isn’t a stripped-down budget app. It does the heavy lifting the big names charge three times as much for — and a few things they simply can’t.

01

Say it. Don’t build it.

Walk the room, describe the work in your own words, and Callide drafts the line items. Say “just the back wall” and it quotes one wall — and tells you the square footage it assumed. A camera can see a room; only you know the scope.

02

It catches what costs you

Ticked demo but no disposal bin? No cleanup, no blades, no site protection? Callide says so before you send — and tells you why. It isn’t upselling your client. It’s protecting your margin.

03

Value, standard or premium

One tap moves an entire quote to a leaner or richer band — because some jobs you want, and some you’d rather price properly. Add a discount for a client you like. Every lever stays in your hands.

04

Books that hold up at year-end

Snap a receipt — it reads the vendor, total and tax, files it to the job, and can log the drive with it. CRA-ready mileage, provincial tax, fiscal years, accountant CSVs. And if anything is missing a date, Callide flags it before your books do.

And everything else

The whole business, in one app.

Built on real job sites

We didn’t study the trade.
We work in it.

Callide Construction has been quoting, building and invoicing real projects for years. Every feature in this app exists because a job needed it — the mileage log because of a tax year, the missed-item check because of a forgotten disposal bin, the voice quoting because writing estimates at 9pm is nobody’s idea of a life.

It’s the tool we built for ourselves. It’s ready for yours.

Read our story
It learns you

The first quote is a ballpark.
The tenth is yours.

Callide ships with a sensible starting price for every line — a common market ballpark, not gospel. What happens next is the point.

Start

A ballpark you can trust

Over a thousand priced lines, researched for the Canadian market, so your very first quote isn't a blank page. If it's close, send it. If it isn't, keep reading.

Adjust

Levers for the shape of the job

Markup, contingency, buffers, crew size, hours a day, a discount. One tap for Value, Standard or Premium. This is where a quote gets tuned to this job and this customer.

Refine

Overrides for how you work

Type your own rate on any line and it sticks. Your cabinet number, your drywall number, your labour rate. Override a quantity when the room doesn't match the math. That's your business, not a template.

Keep

It stays yours

Every rate you set is saved to your account and follows you to any device. Nobody else's app changes because you tuned yours — and yours doesn't change because they tuned theirs.

After a few dozen jobs, your app knows things like:

“This shop runs a 3% discount more often than not.” “Cabinets go out 16% over the book rate on every kitchen.” “Labour is $92 an hour here, not $80.”

Two contractors can quote the same kitchen for the same customer and land on different numbers — because they are different businesses. That's how it should be. The only way to send an identical quote to the guy down the road is to change nothing at all.

Our story

Built on a job site.
Not in an office.

Callide Construction has been quoting and building for years. The app came out of that work — one late night and one lost receipt at a time.

01

The quoting problem

Every estimate meant an evening or a weekend. Sometimes the kitchen table, sometimes a spreadsheet, always trying to catch everything while pricing a job you'd walked hours earlier. Some are easy. Most are a moving target — linear feet, square feet, cubic feet, and room logic that has to hold together.

Show me someone who nails that every time and I'll show you a guy who has never picked up a hammer.

02

Months of spreadsheets

So we built the room math. Then the levers for the things that quietly eat a job — project management, contingency, the buffers. We judged it against the problems that came up most, priced it into models, and stacked it all into one enormous file. Those sheets cost me months I'm not getting back. If you know, you know.

It worked. But it needed to be amplified, and AI had arrived, so the only real question left was: can we teach it to listen? What started as a basement-office tool for offline use turned into something bigger.

03

Selling it isn't the hard part

We can sell the project and we can do the project. Then we lose money on a small tear-out. A customer hangs over your shoulder asking questions, taking up time and space. If you're a pro, you know these people. If you're a real pro, you price the job higher to stay clear of them — sometimes high enough that they run toward somebody else.

That's judgment, and no software should take it from you. It should just make it one tap instead of an argument with a spreadsheet.

04

It was never the work

Our problem was quoting. Keeping receipts. Proving to the CRA we travelled that day. Calculating the travel — another headache. Weekly updates, records, staying organized. It was never doing the job.

Nobody has ever said: “All I had to do was add the two pieces of trim together, plus a quarter inch, plus the window width, to land a perfect 1/8 reveal on my mitre cut?”

What we hear is: “Sorry man, I threw out the receipt. I forgot to photograph the job before I started. I was there every day — not sure if I hit the hardware store on the Tuesday.”

05

And this is Canada

The record keeping is a kick in the pants. The government wants records. Your accountant tells you there's seventy-odd cents a kilometre sitting there and to “just track it every day.” Meanwhile your quoting software was built for Americans, by Americans.

So you, me and everyone else runs old technology and bad software to keep things moving. Some of us are losing money. Almost all of us are losing time.

That is exactly why this app exists.

There is nothing like it for Canadian skilled pros. This one is ours. It's for the skilled — and it's extremely clever.
